Chat rooms may have dies with the start of web 2.0 but we still think they have a place on the intertubes.  Webby Chat has created a fresh approach to web chat with a slick new app.  With just a few lines of copy and pasted code you can display a chat box across your website that allows your visitors to chat to one another.

We have added it to iDezy for testing – take a look and why not test it out.

The app is very unobtusive and sits hidden until the user wishes to expand it out.

Scripts: Scripts to Build a Social Network

13/10/2008

Here are two more social network scripts:

The first is Lovd By Less – an open source script built using Ruby on Rails.  Its fairly basic, lacking the range of features that you will find in a commercial solution – but its elegant and looks good!

Next up is SocialEngine.  This script isn’t free but is feature rich, includes great support and you will have a profitable social network up and running in no time at all.
